um, yeah. i dropped the ball on this whole blog thing. you might think that i just haven't been doing anything and that's why i haven't blogged. which is partly true. i've spent the last four weeks eating a big ol' work sandwich with a trip to boston in between (where i found an almost unhealthy like of public transportation, actually enjoyed being outdoors in 90 degree with AND got hit on and propositioned for margaritas by a massachusetts state police officer. score.)

anywho. i've decided that it's time to get back on the proverbial horse again. especially because...it's fall (well, it will be soon). in case you need a lil' FYI, i love fall. and not just because i'm self-centered and enjoy the season that my birthday happens to fall in. where most people love pulling out their flipflops and hanging outside in egg-frying temperatures, i get my kicks from realizing that it's too cold to go outside without a sweater, yet not quite cold enough for a coat.

point being, fall gives a jumpstart to amanda pio that a most normal people get from the summertime. so you'll hear more from me and stories in the same vein as "the greatest travel coffee cup in the known world" and "underpants: why you can't put your ortho evra patch on your ass and then wear white pants" will not cease to be told. (FYI: both stories are true and the latter was painful to watch, causing the fashionably gifted kate pio to shout out today's title of choice.)
